"It was at the 2006 PGA Championship where I noticed a Tour player who was struggling. After the opening round he was 8 over par. He immediately went to find the magic elixir on the range with his coach, who literally took the Tour player’s golf club -- and moved it step by step through the swing.
Then, why do we think we can go hit 50 buckets of balls and improve? If the pros need this kind of help and hands-on interaction, how can we amateurs ever hope to play better? We need similar access to high-quality feedback.
I would set it up, take some swings and then review the video on the laptop. It was a lot of running back and forth (plus, embarrassing when I saw the funny looks from fellow golfers.). But as I saw flaws in my golf swing, I’d go back and try to make adjustments. But dragging all this equipment to the golf course wasn’t the ideal situation.
